Rooibos... The Long Life Tea Combats Acne and Eczema for Pure Natural Beauty

Rooibos tea - a super anti-oxidant for wonderfully clear, detoxed skin. It helps fight against acne, oily skin and eczema.

It was when I first visited Africa a few years ago tha I discovered the wonderful tea Rooibos.
I can see now why the Japanese called it the 'Long Life Tea' as it is a really remarkable ingredient, one of the most powerful anti-aging ones around today. If you've not heard about Rooibos before it is not really a surprise as Rooibos is only grown in a small area in South Africa - the Cederberg region. Most of us know it as 'redbush tea'.

As I continue to learn more about Natural and Organic skincare ingredients I have learnt that Rooibos, like many types of tea leaves, has also been found to contain lots of antioxidants. In addition, unlike green tea, Rooibos is naturally caffeine free and has low levels of skin-drying tannin, which can be found in higher concentrations in both black and green tea.

Rooibos is what I would call a super antioxidant and one of the most beneficial skincare products around. It is centuries old but only now do we recognise it's beneficial properties both as a tea and as a natural skincare product.
